Accredited Level 4+5 Management for Health and Social Care Diploma Unit 1: Health and Social Care in Context

This is a level 4 unit with a credit value of 15 and a suggested guided learning hour content of 50.

Through study of this unit you will develop understanding of a health and/or social care area in which you would like to work. You will also develop understanding in order to critically evaluate the impact of legislative frameworks in the context of local practice

Accredited Level 4+5 Management for Health and Social Care Diploma Unit 2: Communication Skills for Health and Social Care

This is a level 4 unit with a credit value of 15 and a suggested guided learning hour content of 50.

The aim of this unit is to help you develop knowledge and understanding of communication both with colleagues in health and social care organisations and with service users. You will gain an understanding of why communication is sometimes ineffective and the skills needed to overcome difficulties. You will demonstrate a range of communication skills including carrying out an oral presentation to colleagues, a face to face consultation with a service user and formal written communication.
